The Beginning
The Roots: A Legacy of Service
My birth was in Turuvekere Government Hospital. My roots are deeply embedded in Doddaghatta, a village known for its hard-working agrarian community.
My father, Late G. Mahalingappa, served as an Executive Officer in the Taluk Panchayats of Turuvekere, Pavagada, and Nagamangala. It was from him that I learned the true importance of public service. My mother is Lakshmamma.
Legacy Timeline
The Legacy of Doddaputte Gowdru
My great-grandfather (Muthatha), affectionately known as 'Doddaputte Gowdru', was a pioneer of social welfare in his time. Long before modern government schemes, he built 'Kalyanis' (water tanks) and 'Hal Bavi' (wells) to ensure no traveler or villager went thirsty. He also constructed rest houses and the magnificent Gopura of Mallagata Gangadhareshwara Swamy Temple.

Began professional career as a Government Contractor (Class 1) for the PWD Department.
Expansion to Bangalore
Travelled to Bangalore to upgrade professional capabilities and take on larger infrastructure projects.
Kaveri Constructions
Founded 'Kaveri Constructions', a new venture focused on executing major Government infrastructure works.
Before entering public life, I established myself as a professional capable of execution. In 2002, I began my career as a Government Contractor (PWD Department). This was not just a job; it was an opportunity to understand how government infrastructure works from the inside.
To expand my horizons and upgrade my professional capabilities, I moved to Bangalore in 2008. The exposure to the city's fast-paced development gave me new ideas for infrastructure back home.
In 2022, I founded 'Kaveri Constructions'. As a Class-1 Contractor, I have executed numerous government projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. My professional success gave me the financial stability to fund my true passion: Social Service.

COVID-19 Response
During the COVID-19 pandemic, despite being hospitalized at Manipal Hospital myself, our trust continued to provide financial aid for education and healthcare without demanding documentation.
The Vision: Political Journey
Inspired by the ideals of H.D. Deve Gowda and H.D. Kumaraswamy.
Social service can help hundreds, but political will can help lakhs. Realizing this, I voluntarily joined the JD(S) party, drawn by the 'Mannina Makkalu' philosophy of H.D. Deve Gowda and the pro-farmer stance of H.D. Kumaraswamy.
Recognizing my organizational skills and connection with the youth, party leader Madhu Bangarappa appointed me as the 'State Youth JDS General Secretary'. I have worked tirelessly to strengthen the party organization from the grassroots level.
Today, as an MLA aspirant for Turuvekere, my vision is clear: To make Turuvekere a model constituency in Karnataka, focusing on 'Krushi' (Agriculture), 'Arogya' (Health), and 'Vidya' (Education). I strive to be a representative who serves beyond caste and religion.
